Welcome to Hometown

The story of Hometown Bar & Grill is deeply rooted in the local community. Owners Kevin and Jessica Klice, along with Jeff and Patti Smith, all grew up in Allegany and Olean.

In 2017, Kevin and Jeff purchased the building, which soon became the new home to The Bird Cage, a well-known Allegany restaurant, for a few short years. When The Bird Cage closed its doors, they saw an opportunity to create something new. After thoughtful renovations during the summer of 2022, Hometown Bar & Grill came to life, officially opening on November 1, 2022.

Since opening, we’ve been dedicated to growing, learning, and bringing the best dining experience to our community.
